welcome to interiors by mia olivia

I can't believe I am writing this! This is my dream come true. Interiors by Mia Olivia is finally here. Thank you so much for taking the time to read a little bit about the journey it took to get here.
I wondered for a long time what my life would end up looking like. Growing up comes with a lot of unknowns, risk-taking, and failure. I know life changes in an instant but right now I believe where I am, and what I am pursuing is right.
After my freshman year of college I was left with a lot of unknowns. I knew I missed home, I wasn't happy, and I was craving a change. I really didn't know why I felt those things. I spent about two months with a weight on my shoulders wondering what the Lord had in store for me next. I felt that I was unprepared for life, and had no path. I started praying a lot about what my next steps would be, and little by little the Lord showed me his path. I felt something telling me to just go for it. So here I am.
I never would have imagined that right here at 20 years old I would be doing what I have dreamt about for so long. What a blessing it is to do something every day that is a true passion you hold in your heart. You may be wondering why this is a passion for me, so i'll explain :)
Having struggled with mental health for a large portion of my life I often found myself looking for outlets that let me escape anxious feelings, or hard days. I did the occasional painting, reading, drawing, etc... But what I ended up loving the most as a creative outlet, was all things design and decorating. I was the girl that refreshed her room every six months and spent hours redecorating and making it perfect for the stage I was in and what I needed at that time. I learned quickly that this is what I love.
I always remember talking with my dad about what my future career would look like. I would be so stressed and distraught wondering what I was going to end up doing, and if I was even good enough at anything to make a career out of it. He would always tell me that you have to try things out, find something you love, and work really hard at it. So here I am, doing what I love, working at it as hard as I can, learning as I go, and having fun through all of it. (thanks for the great advice dad)
I hope you'll feel encouraged by reading this that not all paths look the same and at the end of the day if you have a dream you have to jump head first even if it may feel uncomfortable. Living your life this way will help you continue to reach your full potential, which is endless.
I want to thank you for reading this and catching a small glimpse into what got me here today.
Thank you to my family and friends for always supporting me and believing in me.
I am so excited for the future of Interiors by Mia Olivia. I hope you'll love it as much as I do.
Now let's get designing!
